Jubilee of Prayer Groups- Saturday, 16 August 2025
As part of the Jubilee celebrations, all are warmly invited to a special gathering honouring the many prayer groups in our diocese. The day will take place across two locations.
The first part of the gathering will take place at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Inverloch (16–18 Scarborough Street) from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This time together will include Stations of the Cross, Rosary and Exposition, Benediction. This will be followed by a cuppa at 4:00 pm.
The celebration will continue at St Joseph’s, Wonthaggi (27–29 Dowling Street) from 5:00 pm. There will be prayer group displays around the church and foyer, followed by Night Prayer at 6:00 pm and Mass at 6:30 pm.
Pilgrims are encouraged to begin their journey at Inverloch and then travel on to Wonthaggi for the evening liturgy.
