We are delighted to announce the winning posters in the primary and secondary section of the recent poster competition on Child Safety, which is a joint initiative between the parishes and the schools in the Diocese.
This coincides with National Child Protection Week 2021 where the slogan is: Every child, in every community, needs a fair go. Child Safety Week for our Diocese is from Sun 5 September (Father’s Day) to Sun 12 September (Safeguarding Sunday).
Each winner will be presented with a Certificate and a copy of their work professionally printed. These winning posters will be sent to all schools and parishes in our Diocese.
Bookmarks with a selection of this work will be distributed thoughout schools and the Diocese. Some will also appear in Bishop Greg Bennet’s video message for Child Safety Week 2021.
