Bishop Greg Bennet recently made a pastoral visit to St. Mary's parish, Yarram, St. Gerard Woodside, St. Joseph's Foster, St. Agnes Toora and The Immaculate Conception Church at Fish Creek (24th to 27th February).

On the 24th of February Bishop Greg visited staff and students at St. Mary's Primary School in Yarram.  Bishop Greg meet with all the students, whom made a small presentation to him.  He also had a chat with the students and answered their questions.

That evening he had a meeting with the Parish Pastoral Council and the Finance Council at Yarram.

On the following day he visited the Hermits and celebrated Mass with the nuns at their residency, the Peregrini Hermitage in Yarram. He also met with both councils at Foster followed by Lunch with them.

On Saturday morning he had a quick visit to St Gerard’s Church at Woodside. Later in the afternoon Bishop Greg went to see the ongoing restoration works of the Immaculate Conception Church at Fish Creek and thereafter celebrated Mass with the community.  

On Sunday he celebrated Holy Eucharist at 9am at Foster and 11 at Yarram and had his lunch with Council members at Yarram. He left on Sunday afternoon after a very comprehensive visit.
