Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord

Easter Message from Bishop Greg Bennet

In his 2026 Easter Message, Bishop Greg Bennet highlights a moment of profound joy for the Diocese of Sale: this year, over 100 adults have chosen the Christian way within the Catholic Church.

As our Elect receive the "water of life" and our Candidates join us at the Altar for the first time, Bishop Greg reminds us that their journey is a witness to the Holy Spirit continuing to awaken hearts in every generation. We are all invited to return to this "living water" to remember who we are and to whom we belong.

Caritas Australia Lebanon Emergency Appeal

Lebanon is facing one of its most severe humanitarian crises in years, as a sudden surge in violence and mass evacuation orders force families to flee with nothing. Within 24 hours, Caritas Lebanon reported 667,831 newly displaced people seeking safety.

Despite the volatile environment, Caritas Lebanon teams are operating across seven governorates, delivering food, essential items, healthcare, psychosocial support, water and hygiene assistance, and protection services. Let us stand in solidarity with our partners in Lebanon.
