Lebanon is facing one of its most severe humanitarian crises in years, as a sudden surge in violence and mass evacuation orders force families to flee with nothing. Within 24 hours, Caritas Lebanon reported 667,831 newly displaced people seeking safety.

The Diocesan Mission Council held its first meeting for 2026 on Saturday 14 March at St Michael’s Parish Centre, Traralgon.
The Council will meet again on Tuesday 19 May.
Let us pray for priests going through moments of crisis in their vocation, that they may find the accompaniment they need and that communities may support them with understanding and prayer.

Theology of the Body 10 week Workshop
Every Friday evening in term 2, OLHC Youth Group will be running a 10 week workshop for teenagers who are in year 9-12 that introduces teens to the truth that life is not, in fact, all about them; it is about going out of themselves to be a sincere gift for others. We explore the powerful and life-changing teachings of Saint Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. This workshop creates a safe and welcoming space to ask questions, grow in confidence, and learn how to live out authentic love in today’s world.
