Taken into the

hands of sinful men but to

us freely given.

Water and flour no

more, now his living presence

among his people,

real nourishment and

strength for our weary spirit:

food for the journey,

active yeast for our

soul, Easter rising in the

heart of our longing,

sign of the Lord’s body

broken in love for us all

gathered in his name,

‘Amen’ affirms that

we too are being transformed

into something new:

Bringing comfort where solace is sorely lacking

Touching delicately the wounds of a sorry world

Moving gently into the deep shadows of despair

Being present to others in the intimacy of silence

Modelling harmony where we encounter fracture

Sharing our abundance with those who have less

Spreading a soothing balm on old hurts and pain

Offering the lonely a caress that lingers with Hope…

Veins pulsing with the urgency of His love for all,

becoming what we receive: The Body of Christ!
